School's out. The mercury is up. Summer is here. And we knit on.
Our fibers may change to cottons and silks and out patterns to tees and tanks, but the stitches pass just the same.
There are many lovely summer patterns available on ravelry, but I'll share with you some of my favorites and those in my que.
Grrlfriend Market Bag. Over the summer months, between traveling to the beach and the market, I love having this mesh bag. I use it at the grocery and on day trips. I use it as a purse and catchall. It is a easy to follow pattern and it's free.
Yoga Teacher's Yoga Socks. Yoga is not limited to the summer months, by any means, but these socks are a great summer knit while your needles are free of winter projects. This is another easy to follow, free pattern.
Sous Sous. This pattern is in my queue and I love it! The design is lovely and the crop length makes it perfect for summer.
Don't let the summer months keep your needles bare! If you find an inspiring summer knit, please share. I'd love to hear what you're working on.
