First new project of the new year
Now that Isaac Oliver is complete and I've bound off on my long time, stash busting project [I still have some finishing to do before I share that with you], I'm looking to reset my knitting mojo before I take on another intense project [I already have a few of those in mind]. Coneveniently, PurlSoHo sent me this lovely pattern in their most recent email. It is a great, any yarn, any gauge pattern, that is exactly what I need.
I'm using 2 skeins of Fiberstory CORE bulky that I picked up a couple of years ago at Stitches Midwest. It has been in my stash all of this time and as I was winding it [on my brand new swift] I fell in love with it all over again. This colorway is amazing and it is very squishy! The pattern has instructions for an optional tubular caston, but I prefer this method of tubular caston [if you use my preferred method, caston 114 sts for this pattern].
