Tying up loose ends
I honestly can't even remember when I began this project. I know its conception was more than a year ago, before our move. So to see it on the blocking boards was a long awaited sight. This project was loosely based on Orlane's Textured Shawl and was an effort to use up some left overs. I am glad to say it was successful in that regard.
Part of the reason it was such a slow knit was the foreknowledge that when I bound off, I'd have to weave in loose ends, and boy were there ends. But, just as knitting, weaving ends can be rhythmic. It was that rhythm that helped me tackle all of those ends. I think it was worth it.
